Walt Ramage and Jeff Reed, both of NAI Cascade, represented the seller of a 50,000 SF multi-tenant neighborhood retail center, Brookswood Meadow Plaza, which closed on April 22, 2022 at $13,253,000 in an off-market transaction.

Notably, Walt Ramage was a partner in the original development of the Brookswood Meadow Plaza. Development began in late 2007 and the project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget in 2009. Ramage sold his interest in the development in 2010 but maintained a close relationship with partners and partners’ families.

The buyer, a local, family-owned entity which owns and operates several multi-tenant centers throughout the northwest, approached Jeff Reed with 1031 exchange need. Jeff and Walt worked together to matchmake this buyer with partners of Brookswood Meadow Plaza who agreed to dispose of the net-leased asset.

The long-standing relationships between both buyer and seller and the brokers enabled this transaction to come to fruition and is a perfect example of NAI Cascade’s motto… Relationships that Appreciate.
