For the first time since 2007, spec industrial buildings are being built throughout Central Oregon. High demand, and available, affordable land makes Redmond an industrial sweet spot. A three-phase project near Redmond airport was quickly leased with reported interest in the second and third phases. Smaller spaces are being quickly consumed by craft breweries and distilleries as well as other small, light industrial users.
